Blue Tongue developed the first Automotive Service Technician to Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Advanced Group Training Program in 2011 with one specific goal: to solve critical workforce shortages of Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians in mining.
Now, with more than 1,000 successful employees completing our Advanced Group Training Programs to date, we’ve been able to deliver unprecedented rates of success for our partner Clients in mining heavy equipment maintenance.
That’s because, at Blue Tongue, we are more than a consulting firm. We also invest and manage the entire skills project to get a skills outcome that is long term.
TRAINING AND INNOVATION
We deliver formal training over a 10-week block, which specifically targets any gaps in employees’ knowledge (such as hydraulics, braking systems, etc.) ensuring they are productive onsite from day one.
Blue Tongue has also collaborated with industry, equipment providers, and technology companies to develop a unique training experience for our employees, which forms a key part of our Canadian Advanced Group Training Program.
We run Automotive Service Technicians through our world leading Virtual Reality training program which provides the Automotive Technician with exposure to heavy equipment safety scenarios, as well as technical areas such as servicing and diagnostic systems. Job familiarization is central to the learning experience through VR.
GENUINE RISK PARTNER
We invest in the cost of this practical, hands-on training before our employees start working with you. This makes us a genuine project risk partner.
