Prior to commencing any of our Programs, our consultants undertake extensive skills mapping research and candidate market testing to ensure a functional skills and workforce transitional fit. Through years of research and experience our consultants know the type of people most likely to be successful in their career transition to heavy maintenance or electrical instrumentation and we know how to attract them into the program.

Workforce Upskilling and Reskilling

Blue Tongue developed the first Automotive Service Technician to Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Advanced Group Training Program in Australia in 2011 with one specific goal: to solve the critical workforce shortages of Heavy Duty Equipment Technicians in industries such as mining and civil and forestry and logging.

With more than 1,000 successful automotive trades employees being carefully selected, trained and employed through Blue Tongue’s Advanced Group Training Programs to date, we’ve been able to deliver unprecedented rates of success for our partner Clients. We also offer specialized Electrical Instrumentation Technician training upskill programs for the oil and gas industry.
